Proposed Dining Room
A wonderful client of mine is selling his house. He has down-sized to a smaller place, so he's selling his beautiful Dallas home. He also happens to be a Realtor, so of course, he has hired me to stage his home!
I have worked with this client on other staging projects from consultations to flip homes to redesigns. Here are a few pictures of his home with his furnishings and some of my handiwork.
So, for his dining room staging, I've proposed that we use slipper end chairs, wood slat side chairs, and a long simple dining table. The style I use when staging is clean and transitional no matter what style the house is currently. I feel this neutral style helps the potential home-buyer envision themselves in the space.
What style do you use when staging? Does the style change according to the listing? Do you think it matters?
