I'm having a designer friend come over to tell me how to get my act together. Why can't I logically plan what to do next (as far as my home goes)?!?! If I were a client, I would know exactly what to say. Finish one room before moving on to the next. Well, I'm ready to re-do the rooms I haven't finished!
I look around and say to myself, "You're a decorator?!" Ugh.
This is true pretty much anytime of the year for me but especially in January. This is the time of year when I also want to clean out all of my closets, hit all the thrift stores cuz everyone else has cleaned out their closets, paint, decorate, lose weight, yadayadayada. Ya know?
What if I allow myself quarterly projects, projects for my house? That's reasonable, right?
Sooooooo, for March I'd like to......
This is what I'd really like to do. It appears to be a faux finish of a base finish of orangey oak with a cream layer with a blue green layer with an antique stain or glaze top layer.
Or I could just paint it a solid. I've used the color below for some other accent tables in my living room.
You can find it here.
