I needed artwork for an entryway that I was staging. Here's what I came up with...I framed scrapbook pages that I purchased from Target for $4.99. There are several sheets in the pack with different coordinating patterns. The paper is 5x7 framed in an 11x14 frame from Wal-Mart for $3.00 each. The whole project cost $14.oo, and I'll have additional paper for another project! It gave the home an updated contemporary feel. Just the way we wanted to greet our potential buyer. Even if you aren't staging your home, this is a great way to add a fresh look to your space!

How about painting your stair risers? If you don't want to pay someone to paint your two story entry, you could tackle this project yourself. This is a great way to update your space with color. Go to http://www.realsimple.com/ for complete project details. And...of course, refer to Custom Perfect Color Palette for the perfect color.
